    perfection.

A small incident occurred today and annoyed me a bit. I’m really not into the ‘yeah, whatever’, or ‘close enough’ attitude, especially not with the people I work with. Not paying attention to what you’re doing just makes you more likely to screw up and make mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes are costly. Yes, everyone makes mistakes. But when you constantly have that attitude, and making one too many mistakes, then it really starts to get annoying. One day, the cost might be more than what you can afford. Not only that, you drag others around you down as well. No matter what it is, you must concentrate on what you’re doing and pay attention to detail. If you’re not used to that, go back and double check what you’ve done. Triple check if you’re completely unsure.

Taking this idea of perfection in another context, how much does it take for a designer to perfect their piece of art?

How far would a photographer go to get the perfect shot?

    Or creating the perfect lie?

Perhaps we should all have something like this in our bathroom:

Doing things in a general or overview sense may be good, but knowing the fine detail will surpass mediocrity.

    Coffee. Art.

    417036286_3030d7cebd_ojpg

The day seems to go more productively when I get my hit of caffeine in the morning. Because I always get takeaway, not only do I miss out on the froth, but also the enjoyment of coffee art.

    Coffee is a lifestyle.
    Coffee is art.

    wallpaper.

I could spend hours browsing through flickr or just the web for stand out pictures.  Since using the BBB, I have never seen such a high resolution screen on a mobile phone before (the most comparable is probably Sharp japanese mobiles). Such a screen needs a sharp and vivid photograph as a wallpaper to show off its capability.  Here are my favourites.

p.s. getting really sleepy; update with more favourites later.

If it was temporary, I really hope I can go on it before it comes down. ckw, I hope we don’t miss out, because I don’t remember the last time I was on a ferris wheel- if ever, as I have no recollection of it.

This photo was very roughly done – taken whilst driving past!

    CHANEL @ Ginza Tokyo.

I actually remember going there earlier this year from my Tokyo trip. ¬†Unfortunately, we were so rushed for time that we didn’t get to really stop and admire all the city lights and scenes that it has to offer. Must go next time and take some photos.¬†
